A romantic English park with monumental secular trees.

40,000 square meters of pristine peace & quiet.

The park, transformed into a romantic English garden in the first half of the 19th century and further embellished at the time of the unification of Italy, has a large heart-shaped central lawn, accessed by passing under two magnificent weeping beech trees.

Born from an acorn - a gift that keeps on giving.

Standing tall in the central courtyard is a Lebanese cedar that grew from a pinecone brought as a gift by the French poet Alphonse de Lamartine, originating from a tree dedicated to him in the mountains of Lebanon.

Having recently survived a lightning strike it remains one of Italy’s tallest and widest trees, a 34m giant that provides ample shade and a unique silhouette to the property.
